Training the next generation is our responsibility. We must do it at time when we are still learning the latest and greatest technology. For that reason I make sure that I make all of my resources available to my son, King James. People who do not know him seem impressed by the fact that he handles high-end equipment with the greatest of ease. That is because I never put it on a pedestal.

The Sankofa Players of Dallas Texas performed "A Raisin In The Sun" at The Carver Museum in Austin Texas. The cast are all teenagers with the exception of one actor - He is eleven! The Sankofa Players are led by veteran stage and film actor/director, Willie Minor. Willie is famous for saying "we do not cottle these kids". They are trained and treated like professionals.

A Raisin in the Sun, Lorraine Hansberry's landmark classic that "changed the face of American theatre forever," is scheduled to take the stage of the Boyd Vance Theatre at the Carver Museum. After performing to rave reviews in Dallas, the Sankofa Players are taking their production on the road to Austin.
