Women in traditionally male dominated fields find they have to think differently. A lot of times they are not welcome at the table and are treated like the help. Jayne Edison of Office Furniture Innovations in Houston, Texas explains how she took full advantage of an opportunity to bid on a major job. She was told that her firm was not being considered but by looking at it from a woman’s point of view, she turned the tables in her favor.
